The 2010 Winter Olympics chose the West Vancouver Recreation Centre as a practice venue and a public viewing centre. The City wanted a viewing area with a spectacular viewing screen. PJS Systems installed the largest plasma monitor made to date, a 103” Panasonic High Definition screen. Presented with a tight timeline and difficult access to the site, PJS Systems installed the monitor the 800lb display on a wall 30 feet above ground. Integrating the entire system with Tannoy audio speakers, BiAmp DSP and Crestron control, this project was built to WOW the audience and received numerous compliments during the Olympic Games.
