As a specialty Art College, Emily Carr wanted a design in their main lecture room which would allow multi-use capabilities including distant learning functionality. PJS Systems worked closely with the college to ascertain their wants and needs. With this information PJS Systems designed a fully functional room which combined video conferencing, web casting and recording, lecture and presentation with a simple user friendly Crestron interface.
Emily Carr has pioneered distant learning in the Educational Arts community and has been used by other colleges and universities as the model to be duplicated to grow the network of interconnected Art Colleges and Universities seeking to expand their teaching capabilities and offer their students a more diverse curriculum.
